You might think there’s not much to back testing, like I thought, but you would be very wrong to think that. You won’t find this out unless you go through what I did or find real help and resources, searching for help and finding non, then through endless hours painstakingly develop my own processes.. That is the main reason I created this site, so that you do not have to go through what I did.

I had what I thought was a profitable trading strategy until I slowly began to realize that it was not profitable due to many factors I never considered. Once I created a structured and comprehensive trading plan and began thoroughly back testing that plan and my trade strategy, I learned that I had missed many essential aspects that are required to make a winning trade strategy profitable. That took years and thousands of hours, yep, I’m not kidding.

Once I realized I needed to work on crucial things other than my actual trade strategy I looked for resources to help. I looked for help on creating a detailed trading plan and how to back test my strategy and plan. You may have found as I did there is little help ut there for this, especially the back testing part.

I was so frustrated trying to get detailed information about so many important things, the information was just not there. I had to use trial and error for most of what I discovered. I think the reason I could not find the help and information I needed is because that stuff is with the successful traders and if you’re a successful trader your not going to waste your valuable time sharing the information you discovered. I don’t mean sharing information about a trade strategy, I’m talking about information on how to properly back test.

That leads to a question you should ask, why would a successful trader spend so much of their valuable time selling his/her strategy, selling lessons on their trade concepts, provide signal services or provide forex trading education? The answer is they do not. Most if not all of the people that provide those services are not successful traders. So I understand if you question whether the information I provide is valid or not. There are is no way for me or anyone to prove they are a profitable trader. The same goes for this website and the information it provides, I can’t prove that it works. Unfortunately, the only way you will know is to risk a few dollars and try it.

You should also be asking another question, if I’m a successful trader that means I’m wealthy, so if I’m wealthy why do I need to charge for information and services provided. I considered not having a fee, but I thought about the costs and my time involved in creating and managing the site and decided out of principle I should not have to cover the costs. I also realized that by charging a fee the member will have some skin in the game, maybe they will consider the information more valuable because it is not free. Note that I’m not a computer guy, I need to hire someone to do computer stuff, like create and manage the website, create excel worksheets, program EA’s etc.

Another note as to why I created the website, its not just for you. One of the many things I have learned on this journey is that I never stopped learning, I continue to find things I did not consider before. I’m sure many of you have information I have not considered that may help with my back testing and trade strategy development. By the way I continue to develop and back test new strategies, it’s fun and challenging, hence the forum. The forum will be a place where we can all share our ideas and I’m sure I will learn from it as you do.
